I am new

Post by People_Watcher »

Hello,
I recently discovered this forum through a companion of mine. I had no idea such a site even existed!

About me:
There isn't much to tell, really. I am a 25-year-old male living in Middlesboro, KY. That's located north of Knoxville, on the KY/TN border.

I have a Myspace profile and Yahoo! Messenger if anyone wants to add me to their contact list (I enjoy meeting new people).

Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/32377396
Yahoo! Messenger: the_serpents_promise

It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from -- I'll talk to just about anyone.

Thanks!

Ewww....

LOL.

I just spent a week camping in Cumberland Gap and doing an archeological survey at LMU in Harrogate. We ate in Middlesboro and did some of our eating and shopping for camp foods there. What on earth do you do there? I always think Knoxville has it bad til I visit places like that...

There's a good bowling alley near Middlesboro, but that's about it. Most of my father's family lives in Lafollette so I used to drive up to Middlesboro occasionally. Anyways, hello dude.

I'd love to hear more about that. Are you digging? Lab work? What are you looking for?

Ummm, well, I work here:

UT ARL

And we got a job for 7 days doing shovel testing for LMU. That involves digging holes every ten meters or so and seeing what we turn up. The land LMU sits on is something like 800 acres and had a plantation at one point, some civil war elements (not battles but camps and such). There was once a huge 700 room hotel that was scrapped after just a few years for financial reasons. We just are trying to figure out what they've got.

Yep, it's very rustic. Downright mind-numbingly-boring. Although I am living there by choice, so I don't complain about it too much.

I appreciate the replies; it's good to see everyone.
