No, this isn't another "i st0le th3 s0u4ce!!!!1" post. John Carmack announced at QuakeCon yesterday that they're finally planning on issuing a legal release of the quake3 source code.
Which means that we can happily await a shitload of open source games sporting the quake3 engine - which, I shouldn't have to add, was the same engine used in American McGees Alice.
