Can anyone say 'remake'? Looks suspiciously like the late 70's early 80's movie of the same name with Adrienne Barbeau. Cheesy then, but I'm sure the special effects for this version will be much better. Have to agree about waiting and renting.

PG-13 remake of John Carpenter's 1980 R rated classic.
Directed by the guy who did M.C. Hammer's videos.

i can't say i'll waste gas to get out and see this one. i'll probably rent it when it hits netflix, just out of pure curiosity. the fog was probably my least favorite carpenter flick. but... i liked the atmosphere and soundtrack of the original. i'm always up for a ghost story.

Bleh...I DID NOT LIKE this remake. If you want to see The Fog, rent the 1980 John Carpenter original, with Jamie Lee Curtis. Much better than this cheap, CGI fx filled pile of shit.=)
