with out rich there would have been no dave chapelle no eddie murphy and no robin williams (he discovered him and put him on his short lived series) richard could do stand up on anything and make it fuckin funny.his movies were all awesome,and more over i share a birthday with him,richard made me wanna try and be funny and make people laugh
there is goin to be big space to fill and it wont be filled for a long time

eh he did great works in his time, but i'm sure other future comedians will still be able to learn from his successes and failures.

My favorite bit of his is still "Word Association" with him and Chevy Chase. This weekend they actually showed the last part of it on SNL when they mentioned his death, and I never thought that particular skit would see network airtime in any form again.
