If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Important Sanctus Announcement - please read

Post by Bone »

After over 4 years and 54 fantastic events, Sanctus has finally drawn to a close. KG Productions along with Blue Cats Due to a combination of attendance, and a desire to do something better, have decided to end Sanctus. Those of you who were out with us this last month got to witness the end of the "Sanctus Era".

There will be no more events known as Sanctus.

A special thank you is in order for all of you who have attended, and been a part of Sanctus over the years. It has been a one hell of a ride and, we're glad you all were along.

Now to the Good News:

This does not mean an end to Knox Gothic or KG Productions. We are taking this opportunity to focus on Quarterly Parties at Blue Cats that will be more of a regional event rather than just another club night. The first of these parties will be in April with our "Third Annual Masquerade Ball".

Having just met with Vader & Arkady for planning, I can confidently say that there are some BIG surprises on the horizon! We are also working on some more one-off events and special nights. The first of which is going to be the Nine Inch Nails after party at Blue Cats, featuring some of the best G/I DJs in the South East! Full Details for this event will be announced next week.

So to sum up, we are basically working on creating more quality for you instead of quantity. We hope you all will be along for this new era that is about to begin. And once again, thank you all for your support!

Nothing like that has been discussed although the NIN after party would be a good choice.

Also, I just wanted to say that the future quarterly events are being planned to happen on Friday nights.

I am sorry to see it go, however, it sounds like there are some exciting new things on the horizon! Try to think of it as an evolution instead of an end. I think the Friday thing will bring out lots more people! This scene is still kicking, so don't start playing taps yet!

Not exactly surprising, but unfortunate...

However, infrequent events would probably draw larger crowds and keep it “special.â€

Nobody is playing taps yet by any measure, just readjusting our focus of what we are doing. I think most everyone will be pleased with plans we have in store for the South East.

Quarterly will fit into my new life better, though.

This really sucks ass. I had just adjusted my work schedule to come out in February, so I'll still probably come out, it just won't be the same. Looking forward to the quarterly events. Sounds like you guys have big plans and I hope we all remember that it's the people that make the scene, not the place or time.

Hats off to all the DJ's who made SANCTUS happen.

We appreciate all the time and effort you guys put forth to make Sanctus such an experience!

Much Thanks to everyone who put so much energy & talent into keeping a place alive for us. There have been so many opportunitites to call it quits. From Planet Earth to Mercury to Neptune to Lava then Sanctus (did I miss anything?) it has been a wild ride. I plan on supporting Temple when I can and I look forward to seeing what your creative minds come up with for special events. Thanks!

My deepest appreciation to the KGB for all their hard work. You guys have done a fantastic job over the years & we love you for it. Quarterly events will probably be better for my schedule after this semester anyway, so its happening at a good time for me. I still look forward to supporting future KG events. You guys always know how to throw one hell of a party!

*hugs & kisses all around*

I second your dammit. Can't wait till I sell my house in Chattanooga so I can be in Knoxville on the weekends as well as during the week.

How fortunate for me that my first Sanctus at the Blue Cats location was also the last. How poignant...However, it is my belief that Sanctus has not died, but has simply changed form...
