I can't really pick one favorite. So many great nights. I guess my most fond memories are from the nights at Fairbanks. Bluecats just doesn't have the same vibe. Any time I had the opportunity to DJ was always a pleasure.

As for other Sanctus memories:

Not expecting much of the night, I attended the very first Sanctus at the request of a friend. I certainly wasn't prepared for the memories that I have from the nights to follow. The following are a few:

* Of course the bathroom was always an adventure, enough said.

* Karmakaze (soulgrinder then) running into the pole outside the bathroom. That was also the night he ended up hanging upside down from the fence by his pants.

* The beginning of the green fairies, compliments of CS, and the dirty bongwaters, compliments of The Morgue in NOLA.

* The decor and mood of the nights of the "Goth Prom" and "Christmas in July" Sanctus. The work and effort that went into those nights by all involved was amazing.

* Butch making his first appearance at Sanctus at the goth prom

* The first Sanctus Safety Dance train.

* Not really Sanctus related, but it involved many people who attended: the first "Pirate Raid" to Nashville, flag included.

* Everyone following Vader out as he dumpstered Chris.

* The beginning of the pre-sanctus drinks at 4620 and Anya's fun comment when I complained about not getting a cherry in my drink. "No matter how many you eat, your original will never grow back."

* Always wondering where CD got that much energy.

* The amazing costumes at the first Halloween Sanctus at Fairbanks (Chris as The Swedish Chef, Taro as the Jedi, Trance on stilts, etc.)

* Hungry Lucy's performance.

* Playing steal the impressive hat from Celticsmith and realizing that when heels meet tile from carpet at full run, its not exactly a good thing. Of course, that didn't stop us.

* The night that I danced every single song with the exception of two.

* Getting "married".

* The beginning of the pre-Sanctus drinks at Urban and the beginning of the Crackbox wars.

* X's dance to Darling Nikki.

* Countless hours of entertainment and enjoyment by just watching the dancefloor.

* Watching Bone enjoy himself through doing something that he loves. Watching Bone's mom enjoy herself while she was in attendance at the Fashion Sanctus.

* Of course, most of all, I cherish the people that I have met through the years at Sanctus, whether it be at Fairbanks or Blue Cats, and whether it be for short periods of times or those that I still remain in contact with. Those friendships and acquaintances have led to many fun nights of dinner, drinking, dancing, karaoke singing, theatre shows, trips to the fair, "pirate raids" to other cities, hours of conversation, etc. and I treasure the memories of those days and nights as well.

All things come to an end, but I truly look forward to what is on the horizon.

*i think any of the sanctus moments with me and nem and scrow on film count. sticking the three of us together back in the day was just asking for a plethora of midget anal sex jokes.
*seeing Mr.Clock after he started hanging in knox again and we had both been in ashville a shitload the months before and the "whos stalking who" debate ensued.
*any (and i mean any) of my random gay innunedo jokes with master seeker.
*getting led around by a chain.... too bad i never got that girls name.
*watching prjmaty (then lady ivanna) scare the living shit outta people with that morticia tone. ah... i love my sis.
*me and sebuda falling on each other drunk and people thinking we were fighting.
*booty dancing with tori bat piss drunk barely able to stand.
*thinking merc was part of the decoration at the alice in wonderland sanctus.
*the fashion show.........for my own sick reasons involving the crowd whistling at one miz kitty..........
*the last fairbanks sanctus really ranks high on my list..... "yes i have a skull cane. yes you can shove it up your ass. just not my ass"

i remember walking in and asking how much it cost to rent out a gotham city bank for a club night (its for reasons like that i wish i could keep nem in a box and pop him out anytime i saw fit. haha)
*meeting monophonic because we were trashed yet finishing each others sentences.
*meeting downbeforetheworld and instructing him he was my meal ticket from now on, the guys been one of my best friends ever since.
*getting hit on for the first time in my life happened at blue cats. no shit. gotta throw that on here.
*meeting ibbie, also one of my good friends, while both of us drunk at fairbanks. i thought he was like really tall and hunched over. then i realized he was perched into the seat he was in. fucking classic.
*the thing i will miss the most about sanctus was walking around the first bluecats sanctus with vampilot as he picked out his quick pics for "gawth hottttttttttie".
*any random sanctus with sir D. man that guys innocence makes him a time bomb. i love it.
*meeting most of the people i know really.

but sanctus as it was died for me when the group i knew the best quit coming out as much and seperated. i have a picture of alot of us together that ive printed. it was framed in my old house the last few weeks before i moved. im having to pick memories that the core crew might remember,but most my favorites where of me and my circles of friends from the first two years i came out and wouldnt make sense if i posted.this is almost sad, considering all the really tight friends i had when i entered the scene are gone shy a very small number.but i still love all those people dearly as they made me who i am today.
RIP sanctus, you served us well. but now your going to evolve into something that the future generations can get their stories from

I'll never forget all the times we pulled together, like Jay's welcome home, the Halloween to benefit Saving Little Hearts, and the hurricane donations. Once we had a canned food drive, and I forgot mine. So at preSanctus drinks at Urban Bar, I explained my delimma to the manager, and he came out of the back with a sizable can of tuna. He handed it to me and said, "Tuna for the Kitty". I was baffled all night how he knew I was Miz Kitty!
I'll also never forget taking my buddy Milan (that I worked with at Torrid). I helped him pick out an outfit an dthe whole nine yards. I'd joked all he was missing was a gothic name. So on the way there, he told me to introduce him as "Chocolate Thunder". Some how I managed to do it with a straight face, and no one questioned it. We still laugh about it to this day.
And at Fashion Sanctus, when I was modleing in the fashion show. I almost didn't get my cherry dress on in time! I slipped the neckstrap over my head and hopped in the shadow box just in time. I was almost modeling my skivvies!

ha...me and my drunken floor humping is a favorite moment.

eh, seriously tho, fairbanks has pretty much all the favorite moments. Blue cats was always just....weird, which is honestly why i felt the need to come out more just dwindle away.

i think personally some of my favorite moments are as follows.

* Mine and J$'s ultimate scheme to get in free....by me dressing as my monkey alter ego "Sonny Crockett"....the whole week was fun, cus at that point i hadn't mised a single sanctus, and we were telling everyone that i wasn't gonna be there...but J$ was bringing his friend Sonny.....everyone was just so nice to Sonny....except the people that spanked the monkey.

Everyone who ever bought me alkies when i was underage's face after i got rid of the evidence in under 3 seconds.

chasing chicks was always fun.

and of course...me as schoolgirl me. Which prompted such comments as "jeesus barry, you look like you had a baby" and who could ever forget J$'s classic line of...."woah dude, when you came in i was like...i bet barry fucks that bitch by the end of the night"

And i suppose as cliche as it may be now, the friends i made, lost, wished i hadn't made, and all the adventures that the night itself basically birthed. I suppose technically without Sanctus, the need to birth the idea of "Skareoke" at an ihop at 4 am would have never happened.....

I have pictures from both of those nights. I will have to say that the one of you and I in almost the same schoolgirl outfit was priceless.

I can't really think of a particular moment that enjoyed over all others. Mostly I think about all the wonderful people that ive met through Sanctus. Makes me kinda sad that I missed the last few.

I can think of two with you specifically... one being us dancing to "Son of A Preacherman" and knocking people over, and another when your zipper got stuck on my fishnets and Jen had to run over and unhook us. :-p

I must agree with everyone else that the best times were at Fairbanks, it was just a much nicer vibe. Back then, I didn't know everyone and I always met someone new that I found interesting and there was an added element of not knowing all the ties from one person to another. Not too long after the switchover though, it seemed like a lot of nastiness bloomed between people. I am thankful for some of the friendships I've formed (the ones I still have) and for the hard lessons everything else taught me. I can't wait until the boys start up something new.

I agree Sanctus at fairbanks was waaaaay better. I miss that place.

Another good memory is that first get together at the fairbanks. where i met several of you for the first time.
