I know I should be worried, angry, and american grade pissed off at the report but honestly I giggled at the image. Sitting happily in the library minding your own when the porn police comes to visit.

Actually this article made me happy.

The librarian took charge and kicked the officers out. They apparently know the law better than those officers did. I applaud them.

Just goes to show you, don't fuck with a librarian!

Leslie Burger, president-elect of the American Library Association, said the reality is that "libraries are not the hotbed of looking at porn sites.

A damned shame if you ask me, can you imagine standing up in surprise in the middle of the library and shouting "Holy Shit! Look at the tits on this midget!"

We have to use filtering software here (to my knowledge in the entire state of TN). However, if someone over 18 asks for un-filtered use of the computer, I give it. Mainly because a lot of things like art sites are also lumped into "nudity". I don't care what people view, I do care that no children are around if they so choose to view nudity of any form (yes, I know they get worse at home on the tv).

I don't see what someone would want to come to the library to view porn for as it's just not the most ideal place to get off (in my humble opinion).

Well look at that the U.S. Constitution is still good for something. On a off note.. Who the fuck goes to a library to view porn!? I mean really come on, I don't even know what kind of gradification you would get. What are you going to to do pull your junk out and spew choade all of the library floor, you would have to be a sad sad little fucker to do that in the first, but that is what makes this country great. The men were not verifed by the article to be actual memebers of the Homeland Security team. Considering that the local librarian told them to leave...and they did. I bet they were Baptists.
