Newly Scanned Pictured of Fairbanks Sanctus

I recently got a scanner and am slowly working on scanning stuff for our general history. This is a project that I started long ago but was unable to finnish due to lack of equipment.

Seeing these pictures makes me realise the differance between Blue Cats Sanctus and Fairbanks Sanctus. It was just a totally different vibe. I keep remembering the time just prior to KnoxGothic being invented when Sanctus wasn't more than than hot little burning nugget of an idea in the back of my head.

I remember the day Karlaboo found the EastTennesseeGothic website and It inspired me to get the ball rolling. It was just after that that Jonathan, Andy, and I really decided to get the ball rolling with a one off party that would later become Sanctus. Right after that Erin Redd became involved with the web design and PR work.

Then there was the Bell/Pirkle ETG v/s KG internet war. That was lovely. Still good times though. Everything was so new and for my part, I really felt like I was accomplishing my goal of bringing people together and re-inventing Knoxville's perception of what a goth night should be.

If you mean the event at the fairbanks that was to become sanctus, I believe that was Halloween 2001. If you mean a "goth" night in general, that goes way way back. Jason and I both started coming out around the same time. I believe it was 1993? Some time when you come out, come sit on Mamaw Kitty's lap and I'll tell you all about the old times. We had to walk to the club uphill both ways in 4 feet of snow!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, Rumps. I was there every Thursday. I remember we did a Ministry CD release/listening party there. Oooooo, and the lights out party. That was fun. I had a little devil head lantern named Mr. Spooky that I brought.

I MIGHT have "Weekends" or "Tumors"...............honestly I have been carrying around about 20 rolls of undeveloped film from way back....when I used to pass around a camera @ clubs. No telling whats on them and if its still good. This is a good excuse to start getting them developed!

Mmmm some of them might be of my boobs I remember Dark Elf passing the camera around at planet and trumps and well when you hand a camera to drunk people weird things can happen. I know you have one of Scott's Bare Ass and one of Sam's Ass. I remember that much and I know you have an extreme close up of amy's boobs. Ah Memories! If you have some old film that has not been developed you might want to take it to Thompson Photo and have the pics retrieved professionally it might cost more but it might be worth it. I had some film that was from 94 and thompson did really good getting the pics. Just a suggestion. Arkady I will see what pics I have as well. I know I have some from Planet and I have a group photo in front of planet with scott, sam, brian, DJ Scott and others it was after the GWAR concert. I believe you are also in the pic as well. I also have pics from Trumps if I can find them. I just moved.

Heh, Mother Mo is in the pic with Skinhead Scott from outside Mercury...if the pic would of been moved over there would have been me, a friend named James and her friend Alison....I actually remember that night....Rawk. Ty for the memory. 8-)
