yes just found out that my car audio team is gonna be sponsored by plaza electronics in athens...sobe is also thinking of sponsoring us...ill have a lizard on my hood...and all the free sobe i could ever want....does anyone here make it to caraudio tornaments like MECA, and USAC? ill be competing locally come check me and my ride.

When are the next competitions? I'd like to go to a few.
Aside from the audio, have you shown your car at NOPI or any of the other car shows?

im trying to get my car to be show quality, but its gonna take a lil time....its a nice ride but its not where i want it...id like to have wing doors, wing, tinted windows, ect....its got the boom part down, and its got the speed....but the interior is lacking....im having a roll cage installed soon....hopefully ill be able to compete in car shows but for now im doing caradudio

u have done way more than me, coarse im in college and dont have alot of money....its basically stock ass of now...except 2 fifteen inch 3000 watt audio pipe subs stage 3, and a audiopipe 5000 watt amp....will be porting&polishing, and boring....will be adding 200HP shot of nitros

you sure that a stock probe engine will take a 200hp shot of nitrous? thats a pretty big shot. then again, i know nothing about probe bottom ends.

however, i would recomend what I am going to do when I put my car on the juice, go with a progressive boost system which matches the Nitrous shot to the throttle position. but even @ WOT i won't have a shot that big, and I may not have a stock bottom end, (engine came with an aftermarket stainless head gasket, and I don't feel like tearing it apart to see what was done)

i feel ya on the college thing, me 2.

the original plan was a 75 HP shot....u are right the 200 is pretty big, i have a friend who runs one to a 2.4 liter 4 cyl, probe....i swear to god he is gonna melt that damn motor....i have the v6 version 2.8 i think....still i dont want to cook it.

yea....i had a friend who is a cop try to keep with me on the backroads in mcminn county....in a straight away he clocked me a 12omph, i lost him...yea w00t. Just waiting on tax returns to get here so i can do the motor work

since i have the stainless head gasket already, i may add a 50-75 wet shot after i get an oil cooler, a larger oil pan, some better tires, and a little bit of dyno tuning.

That should get me just past the 500hp mark.

my turbos peak efficency is around 440hp.

400 sounds a bit high from a N/A 164 HP V6. even with a P&P and an angle job you would not get past 190. probably even less.

i really would not recomend your power goals in a probe.
it would take a lot of money to upgrade your fuel system, valvetrain, and electronics to handle it.

and after doing all of that in my care, trust me, its a lot of time and money. and whatever you think its going to cost, multiply it times 2. as a reference, I have invested several thousands of dollars into my car to get it where it is mechanically. about 10 grand total. i bought the car for 4 of that.

see u know a heel of a lot more than me, i payed 500 for the car, i cant complain its in great condition, 100,000 miles on it but the interior needs alot of work, i would rather have just a show car, ive got 2 audio pipe 15s and a 5000 watt amp....thats going in there, dude id love to get with ya and do some tuning....i saw ur car on myspace...nice ride.

thanks, thats nothing yet though. still need to finish glassing in the body kit and paint it.

another word of advice, if you only paid 500 for the car, don't put anything in it that you can't take out and put into another.
