I'm not dead yet!

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

I'm not dead yet!

Post by Onibubba »

But I feel like I probably should be. I've just been able to get back online these past few days. April 2nd a tornado tore though Hopkinsville KY where I am staying with my parents. It hit our street around 9pm that night while everyone was home. We had about 10 seconds to make it to safety. I was terrified for my cats who I could not catch in time, but animals know what to do, and they are safe.

We are all ok. No deaths in KY, sadly not the case in other states hit last week. My car, my mom's car, my brother's truck, his apartment and my parent's home, all fucked up in a matter of seconds.

I know there are some folks from Nashville that post here. I hope you and yours all made it through the storms ok. I know Gallatin got hit pretty hard.

Glad you made it through ok. Just hail at my place in East Nashville, but I know people that lost everything. Sucks. Hit two blocks from my 84-year-old grandfather and when I called he was sitting out on the porch. Dementia sucks, or maybe the loss of fear is like being a kid again. Anyways, would love to get plastered and get your mind off all the negative shit!

See ya 'round!
