What is your take on bullys

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

I really can't say that I was bullied, it was more like completely ignored. I had three really good friends, who were all "fringe" people like me, so we got along very well. We were constantly left out of things. And when the 'cool' crowd noticed any of us, it was basically just to insult one of us.

In high school, I was the tall, skinny, no-boobs, no-butt, tomboy smart ass intelligent girl, who spoke her mind and didn't give a shit what people thought. Sarcasm became my favorite weapon. That and insulting their intelligence. Yes, I did knock a couple down, but they left me alone after that. No guy wanted to get his ass kicked by some puny little girl with a bad attitude and the guts to take the biggest of the bunch on.

Yes, it hurt. I was depressed a lot, cut/burnt/etc. myself a lot, but finally figured out that wasn't doing anyone any good and stopped. Now, I just don't give a shit. If you like me, fine, if you don't, fine.

School was(actually, is) pretty much shit. For one, i'm the guy with blue hair and eyeliner. I guess that's kind of asking for shit. I've also been considered the token gay guy since 8th grade. First, rumors started flying around, so i decided, "fuck it, now would be a good time to let people know i'm bisexual." Of course, people interpret this as, "LOOKY HERE, I'M A FLAMING HOMOSEXUAL WITH AIDS AND BUTTSEX." I've gotten used to it, because i know that when i am a millionaire rockstar, those fuckers are going to be all like, "i knew that guy in high school." That, and the fact that i get laid more on a weekly basis then they do in a year.
Dude, i've got a full on robot chubby.

You are right Spleen, let's see....a trip to upstate NY to look at annoying, pastey white ex class mates or sitting on the beach all weekend...hey, either way it is a trip alone and I would rather be alone on the beach than at a reunion.

It is a shame that school is the way it is. Everyone remembers the stupid drama and nasty people and seem to forget the education. Even some of my friends now have given up on college altogether because of negative high school, even middle or elementary school experience. Knowledge is really golden, even though that may sound cliche, I really am sad to see intelligent people just "settle" in life for what ever job comes down the pike. I never thought I could do well in math and in my math concepts course I am pulling a 95! That is like hell freezing over for me...
I just wish everyone had the chance to excel in college, or any type of "continuing education".
Well, that is just my opinion. :)

i'm a high school drop out, but i taught myself enough about computers/software/design language to have my own business. I would love to continue education, but its just not viable right now. Instead, i just read a lot and pay attention to everything. You can pick up a lot that way, even if you dont get a piece of paper at the end to prove it. :(

I completely agree. You are lucky because in your case, you decided to go on and make something of yourself. I feel it is sad to see people that have such a negative experience in school that they will even stay away from any kind of learning experience. My friend dropped out of high school and she went on the run and own her own business, much like you Asher. Congradulations for having that drive to go somewhere with your life. Believe me, at this point, after running like a madwoman for a week and only getting THREE hours of sleep last night because of all my papers and work...I wish I could just get my license as a teacher now! Three hours or no, I am still going out tonight, alone but hey, I will have a friend...Uncle Jack Daniels (j/k)!

Temple is the automatic de-stresser...well, Sanctus was THE best but it will come back...I have a good feeling about it...cheers to the weekend!

I never had a problem with bullies. I pretty much kept to myself and stayed off the radar anyways.
However I did have quite a few problems with the parents of which ever girl I was seeing at the time. :)

I dealt with more than my share o' the bulliez, n fact, I generally took on most every1 else'z bulliez n school, 2 ... Verbally, pshychologically, & oft rather phyzically ... Just not a thing that I would abide ... I generally got it myself 4 being a weirdo, my freaky & oft revealing clothez, ma2ring rather young, alwayz being tall & rather lanky, being n all advanced classez, & refuzing 2 stand by idly az most n-e-1 waz bullied (& I just got a rep 4 being sum sorta bully testing ground, I think) ... If I'd ac2ally ever really hurt 1 ov them when it started (nstead ov just pinning them 95% o' the time & only hurting them if necessary 2 immobiliz them) mayb they woulda left me b ... dunno ... The last ov them did wind up a bloody mess ... a Saint, I' m not ...

Never had a problem either because I didn't let it become a "problem" I always confronted anyone that had a "problem" with me and usually in the end it was over something stupid. We then would usually become friends because we would see that fighting was not always the answer. But I am always up for kicking ass when it's needed and necessary.... you know last resort and all. Usually I find I just don't have the time to mess with people of less intelligence eventually they do themselves in anyway plus it's more fun to watch.
