I'm not looking forward to an upcoming round of Death in my Family.
I have several grandparents who are due before too long.
One's only in her 70's, but she's been "Almost dead" for over a decade, bouncing back every few months.
My only living Grandfather is close to 80. Despite being fairly spry, he's deteriorating ever more quickly as the years pass. His wife, (My Grandmother's Sister... They Married in their Elder years, after my grandmother's death...) is becoming quite Fragile as well, and I know that that takes it's toll as well.
I see it coming, but I've been living in a bit of "Safety-Denial".
Your post reminds me of the value of the time that EXISTS, since it WON'T always be the way it is now...
Endings? New Beginnings?
Either way, there's a Pain-Factor....
