Greetings All,
I'm a single punk/goth girl who's just moved to this area from Richmond, Va. I'm a college student so I haven't had much time to meet people. I enjoy watching horror movies and reading in my spare time. I'm interested in meeting people who share my interests.
Good god, why would anyone ever purposely move to Oliver Springs! Its like hick central!! And the fucking cops blow goats! I got pulled over twice in one week there!
I live in Oak Ridge...lol...we're snobby over here...hehe..
Welcome, come out to New Wave night at Ivey's this Friday. You can also attend Skareoke this Sunday at the same location. Then, there's our beloved Sanctus the following Sunday at BlueCats in the Old City. I will likely be at all three. Skareoke maybe a bit iffy due to finances, but I'll try to be there as well.

I would love to come if I knew knoxville better. I've only been to a few places there so I'm not sure I knew where it was or could find it.
If your going to be going to UT you should be able to find the 11st coffee house eventually and a lot of people meet there on fridays, from there you can get good directions. Knoxville is layed out pretty simply (so as not to confuse anyone) theres downtown and then theres Kingston Pike going west.

Well, right now I'm not attending UT, I'm attending Roane state in OR (Yuk, Iknow but I'm transferring to UT next year) so I only know a little of kngston pike. I' guess I'd need exact directions or I'd get lost.
directions to ivey's:
go thru Oak Ridge to pellissippi parkway merge onto 40/75 towards knoxvegas get off at cedar bluff take a left back under the interstate and take next left towards parkwest hospital go up the hill past cracker barrel and just past the motel sits ivey's for new wave friday
sanctus @ blue cats:
same directions to knoxvegas except dont get off 40/75 at cedar bluff - head all the way into townget off at james white parkway exit and take immediate right (summit hill)exit ....
take a right at the light at the bottom of the hill - you are now in the old city - proceed to the 2nd intersection (jackson ave.) and hang a right - - look for a place to park - watch for children of the night and follow the music....

I don't live in Oak Ridge but I work there (at the public library) and I'll be taking a couple of classes at Roane State this semester.
Are you attending there also?
