Looking for Falafel....

Post by calm_inthe_water »

I love middle eastern food. I frequent the Falafel Hut on campus...love thier falafel pita sandwiches and hummous. Can anyone suggest other places to find good middle eastern cuisine?

I realize that Kingston Pike is a bit vague...if you get off at the gallaher rd exit coming from Oak Ridge on 1 40, take a left on K pike and it won't be far and its on the left.

Billy's Time Out Deli here in O.R. might have some middle eastern food too. I know they have baklava..and thats all you *really* need...lol.

yummm...baklava...lol. Actually years ago I purchased falafel at Billy's here in O.R. but they didnt serve it with the yummy yogurt sauce. I purchased tahini there once..ummm wasnt sure what to do with it at the time...lol. DOH! I don't think they serve it now. Someone told me about a place in knoxville...can't remember the name...grrrr...but they do alot of carryout and the only middle eastern item they have is hummous, but it is some of the best I've had...wish I could remember the name of this place!
