The Starkweather Curse

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

The Starkweather Curse

Post by Sonicgoo »

So Sunday me some friends were to get together for a going away party of sorts, I'm heading to Boston the 20th.

I decided to start off the evening playing some music in the graveyard near the Charles Starkweathers grave. I took some pictures of the graveyard but it will most likely be awhile before I get around to developing them.

Well we played a few songs after cruising through the graveyard. Starting off with a quick improv to get in tune and then played the Walls of Time, Ciccada Serenade, and then we ended with a Robert Johnson tune. Well we took to long with that last tune and got the truck locked in the graveyard. After cruising around for a bit and realizing there was no way out, Flabbergasted at such good security at a cememtery, we walked down the road to a pay phone and called the groundskeeper to come let us out.

Once we got back to the graveyard we noticed that there was someone over in front of the truck approximatly were the lock for the gate was. We were happy that the groundskeeper had beaten us back so that we wouldn't have to wait. As we approached the figure moved around to the back of the truck and this spooked me as there was no reason for him to be messing with my truck. Once we got there, there was nobody there around or in the truck. We were both surprised, and realized that arguably we had just seen a ghost.

So we sat down and improvised another tune

Groundskeeper hurry up
Groundskeeper hurry up
I don't want to be locked in the graveyard
While I'm still alive
to much, to little time

Well the groundskeeper let us out, and we were off to the party back at my studio, it got off to a good start and then wound down to a dramatic end that was just no good, and in the end I wake up with a Black eye lol.

If ya want to hear the rest just ask...
