New music on SYNTHPOPALOOZA RADIO

Post by Synthpopalooza »

Hey everyone ...

It's been a long time, but there is finally NEW MUSIC to be heard on Synthpopalooza Radio at live365.com!

To listen to these and more songs, go here: http://www.live365.com/stations/230040

Here's the lowdown:

AGENCY-X: This swedish-american synthpop duo gets it right. Addictive as hell and I love it. Songs: Don't Hold Your Breath, New World ALBUM: Mission Impossible

ASTROMILL: Sheryl McMillan is this one-woman synthpop machine from the UK, heavily influenced by Pet Shop Boys and modern electronica. Song: Stranded in Manchester Album: Electricity II

CAROL MASTERS: Very impressive synthpop duo with catchy melodies. Their new addition this month is a remix by the retro NYC synth band Soviet. Song: Connect (Soviet Remix) Album: WXJL II

CHALK CIRCLE: Very melodic synthpop duo from the UK who remind me of OMD. Songs: Stop the World, Stormy Sea Album: Life

DAYBEHAVIOR: A female fronted outfit signed to A Different Drum. Very dreamy and melodic, gives me chill bumps: Song: The Moments I Couldn't Save Album: Have You Ever Touched a Dream

EIGHT TO INFINITY: Very danceable electropop from the UK. In this case, an ode to the obsessive hobby of collecting vinyl records. Song: Mistress Vinyl Album: WXJL II

EUROVISION: I just discovered this unsigned band right in my own backyard, in Atlanta, Georgia. They have a really cool ambient Depeche Mode vibe to their music. Song: Without You Album: unreleased

HEAVEN 17: The original electrofunk outfit from the 80's, is back, and as good as ever. It's as tho the 80's never ended! Song: Hands up to Heaven Album: Electricity II

I SATELLITE: If you hven't checked out this retro-synth act from Michigan, you should. This is experimental synthpop influenced by Gary Numan, Kraftwerk, and a bit of early Human League. Song: Automat Album: AUTO:MATIC

MACONDO: An eccentric synthpop duo signed to Ninthwave Records. That accent is so unmistakably British, I love it. Song: Disappointed Album: Up Here for Thinking, Down There for Dancing

SYNTHETIK FM: My own synthpop project. Hope you like it ... this is an extended remix, unavailable anywhere else except on here. Song: Moonlit Stairs (extended 12" remix featuring Kiss the Star) Album: e=mc^2

INTROSPECT: The talents of one Sean Priest. This song has a psychedelic vibe to it that I really like! Song: Newborn Child Album: unreleased

NUKLEON: Dan Burke is just amazing. You must check out his debut album on Cohaagen Music if you haven't yet. Pounding rhythms, electronics, and clever lyrics. Songs: Mars, Lucky Album: Earth Rising

That's all. Keep on Synthpoppin'

Cheers ... B.C
