The Kronos Quartet

Post by Liriel »

I don't know many people who like their music, but I've started to like them ever since hearing their score music in the film, Requiem for a Dream. I think they're one of the few all-instrumental groups left who've made it on their talents alone.

My favorite is Black Angels. Very nice. The perfect thing to listen to before Diamanda Galas' Wild Women With Steak Knives. KQ are extremely varied. Didn't they do a rescore to Universal's Dracula?

Yes, in fact, they did do a rescore to Dracula. It's very good, I think.
