If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Knee Pain and Split Personalities

Post by MahoganyDawn »

Ok, for those of you who missed all the fun or just never figured out what happened... Last night at the club I fell down the stairs on one side of the dance floor. My bad knee had given out and then locked on me. I was in a great deal of pain. Under normal circumstances I am one of the sweetest people you will meet. However.. when I am upset or in great pain I become 20 times more evil than I am sweet. I don't remember much other than the pain... But I am pretty sure that I cursed/screamed/bitched at some of you in the process of getting back home to my pain meds and knee brace. Just wanted to say I'm sorry for the things I did while I was posessed by the pain/anger demon. What can I say.. I am Kitten Vicious. So cute.... but SO EVIL!

That's happened to me a lot - I'm feelin' your pain. Mine dislocates, and that's one of the scariest freakin' painful things ever.

Ouch! Sorry babe. That must have happened after I left. It was nice to meet you last night, BTW.
Sure, I'll try to be nicer, if you try to be smarter.

ah yes...evil knees. i too suffer from extreme pain at times in my left knee, as i ripped a ligament in it a year or two ago. i found that the physical therapy i had to have for it was far more painful than anything else....

but the meds are wonderful!

I was in a car wreck. My housekeys that were dangling from the ignition switch, went through my kneecap and broke it in half. I've had 2 operations on it, and countless hours of PT. It still gives me trouble. The best part is the first doctor who operated on it... put it back in the wrong place. Isn't that cute?

Anoki, I'm glad you got the meds from the doctor. I'm really sorry you got hurt. Those stairs there seem to be quite evil. Yours adds up the the third incident I've known of involving those stairs at Asylum. The other two were a sprained ankle and someone hitting their head on the ceiling. :(

Hitting thier head on the ceilling? Are you sure? It's a pretty tall ceilling. I mean I am the wolds worst clutz, but even I don't think I can manage that. (hehehe)

Yeah you have to pre-plan your dancing shoes for the floor at Asylum, the floor being fairly slick.

Glad to know you are now in Happy Meds Land Anoki. I had a bad horse ridding accident and screwed up my right knee. So far I have yet to let a doctor do anything to it. I knew in advance of thier stupiditiy.

Well the low ceiling when you go down the steps. I've had to watch myself a few times and I'm a bit on the short side.

the other thing I watch myself for is bouncing into the light fixtures. Be horrible if I was happily bouncing and then crash me head into the lights.
