GREEK FEST!!!!!

Since I see no other threads yet, I just wanted to post that this year's Greek Fest will be this next weekend,
Thurs, 10/16 through Sat, 10/18.
I'll be going down to St George's on Saturday evening after work, probably be down there around 6:30.
I have to work 'til 8 PM Thursday and Friday, but anyone who can go any of the days is encouraged to patronize the fine food and Festivities.
I think maybe a Saturday evening gathering would be nice, unless the rest of you feel like going multiple nights.

Jinx and I may come by on Saturday... I showed her the church a few weekends ago in passing. I went two years ago and enjoyed myself.

we go every year. i have even been to Mass here many, many times. when we first moved here, i was good friends with one of the priest's children.

no ouzo for me this year, though...

It's good to see that a few are already making plans.
My wife is a member there, and, though I'm not Greek Orthodox, I DO Support most of their teachings and have MUCH Respect for them.
Father Michael is one of the nicest priests I've ever met.
He's Definitely in touch w/ his Soul.
Put it this way, though I'm not a member, I'm comfortable asking his advice on troubling issues.

I've always wanted to go and have never gotten to. I 'm actually off on Friday, so I plan on going. Yipee!

Yeah my office is in Sequoyah Hills, I was thinking of motoring on down after my client on Friday. Or hhuumm maybe after my client on Saturday. Thery are both early appts. I missed it last year Damnitt! I AM going this year.
