"Technicolour Bruised Landscape"
By Trevor de Sade

Escape
The neurotic drug-induced
To see the point-of-veiw
Where everything is faltered
And everyone has failed
The sleeping see in deepened blue
That tints the layered red
Never see but blue & black & purple
Like technicolour bruised landscapes
This is our habitat, our veins
Broken spines of greater gods
Lie at our finger-tips
Umbilical cords to transistors
That will find our place in a dying space
Hidden in our metal shells
Our backs still exposed
Soft daggers plummet deep into
Slit our throats & hold our breath
Our final Omega is here
Escape...escape

Loosen the collars
Loosen the grasp of real humanity
Nothing needed but coded souls
Lost like little children in our own device
Hollow voices, recorded, distorted
Never returned
Permanent fixtures to the better tomorrow
Welcome
This is the hell we have created, succumb to, & enjoyed
Love lost, but lusted after
Often confused
Synapsis to the shell
I'm in
Out
Out
Out
Our final Omega is here
Never coming for us
Waiting, we step closer still
Escape...escape...escape

I really liked that. I liked the way it "ended".

Thanx. I think it was almost more of a tangent than a poem, though. Im not really sure. I'm also not really sure where it came from either. *shrugs*
