FOOD DRIVE @ Sanctus Afterthoughts

Post by mafiaman »

I am feeling very contented by what has been accomplished. People will be fed due to the charity of others. Some children will recieve toys who would otherwise go without this season. All of you who have contributed to the success of the food drive should be proud. I'm grateful to you all for the helping hand because we filled FIVE cases with food and ANOTHER case with TOYS.

Thank You to Buttercup for coming up with the idea in the first place and putting it out there for people. You, woman, are an evil table-dancing treasure.

Thank You to Caustic for the CD sales and promotional help for this event, I do not think there would have been such a large turn-out except for your music. Also a Thank You to Thrall for provided some muscle when it came to carrying out the fully loaded food boxes and for spreading the word to help get this idea off the ground.

I'd also like to thank the nitwit who bought two prints from me and then got so drunk that he forgot that he bought them, so I was able to sell them again. Now, That's Entertainment!

I am sorry that I forgot the cans. I had them ready by the door, but ran out and forgot them. I will drop them off somewhere tomorrow. I had full intentions of taking them, but I'm an idiot. Once again, I'm sorry.

I want to extend a big KG thanx to Tony, the manager of the Urban Bar and cafe, for giving me a can of food to donate, since I forgot mine. We should do this again!

Was good to have a chance to give back. Didn't know if I was going to be able to, this year.

Already in process. I'm finding out when Second Harvest has the least amount of donations and that will be time for the next one.
