Here lately I've been frequenting the Knoxville Community Food Co-Op on Broadway. It's a great little store full of cookbooks, produce, cereal, soft drinks, grains, herbs, and even frozen soy pizza...

The soda collection is great, a lot of off beat type stuff. Today I got a four pack of Virgil's Root Beer which is exceptionally good and has a picture of Jesus serving roots beer to two kids on the cover. Rock it!

I normally go for the fruit which is consistantly good. Non-organics and vegetarians need not worry about feeling out of place. I went in there wiith my leather trench on and nobody tried to pounce me.

The address is 937 East Broadway. It's across the road from Broadway Carpets. The parking itself is very limited so you probably will have to park on the other side. of the road.
