Shopping this week, OR Get Thee To Ross

Post by karlaBOO »

BOO and I had some shopping to do this week. She had school pictures on weds., and needed a shirt to go with a really cute skirt she has.

Mecca (Super Target) was first. I decide I needed socks and undies, so off we went. I got some really cute pin-up girl socks (to go along with my latest obsession), and some black and white stripey socks. I was really glad to see those, and that they had stripey socks in other colors. There was a really cute pair of slipper socks I was looking at. They were white and made to look like there were black mary janes over them. Cute, but I am not a fan of the slipper/sock. :(

I went kind of nutty in the undie section. I'm sure not everyone wants to know about my underwear, so we'll just say they have some REALLY cute stuff right now. I will tell you that I got some of my favorite pjs. The camisole/panty kind. They have a lot of those right now, I guess to prep for spring/summer.

After picking out a couple of shirts for BOO, we then went next door to the new Ross- Dress for Less. It's kind of like a T.J. Maxx, or Marshall's, but with what seems to be better pricing. Everything I looked at was a third of what I was expecting in price. I needed new jeans, since I only have one pair now. So, I went through their jeans racks and got a pair from Express for 12.99. However, I'm that girl that never tries something on in a store. I had to return them the next day. In exchange, I got a BEAUTIFUL, black, silk dress. It has a sheer top layer, with tight, 3/4 length sleeves that then bell out kind of unevenly. The hem is asymetrical, and jagged, one side going to the floor. *swoon* Bargain: Washable, silk, floor length, flowy dress. $19.99 :)

At Ross I also picked up some bath bubbles in a blue apothecary jar for $2.99, and some burgandy fishnets for $1.99. I was a happy girl.

You should check it out. They had a lot of really good stuff.
