hypothyroidism

as some of you know, i am hypothyroidic, but i have not been taking medication for a few years now. (which i have to admit, is pretty stupid of me) due to an increase of symptoms here lately i am going to go ahead and go get put back on synthroid. i was wondering if there was anyone else here with thyroid problems? and to let you know that one of the symptoms that i have been having is randomly passing out. or at least getting close to it. which i starting thinking about, and it seemed like a good idea to let the people who i usually hang out with know about. (as not to freak them out incase of an incident) anyone who has no idea what i am talking about can check here for more info

my mom has it and is on synthroid....AND is a nurse. If you have any questions I can forward them to her....or talk to her directly......Pm me if need any info

Most of the relatives on my dads side and my sister all have thyroid problems, unfortunately they cant take the medicine for it (after a month or so they will black out and wake up like a week later in anouther state or country) Never heard of any of them almost passing out from not talking the medicine though (they just get big).

one of my closest friends has it , and has been taking giant horse pills of meds for years now. she hates it too. i believe she has been on a few different medications, so if you have any ??, pm me and i'll ask her. evel's mom is definitely a fountain of knowledge as well. :-)

Hypo is underactive, right? I have a friend with a thyroid problem, but I think hers is hyper, not hypo....hope you get it under control!
