I am incredibly confused and in this case ask for help. I have spoken with some of you on a few occasions and need your wisdom.
I am a spoiled little brat, I hate to admit it, but it's true. When I don't get my way I put myself down and act like a total jackass to people.
Well, there was this one person I really cared for. When I was forced to move, the spoiled brat in me came out and I was a jack ass to everyone. She broke up with me. I was a complete dick.
Now, Im trying to change, I just dont know how. Im sick of being a spoiled little bitch. Im sick of being there for only me. When I did that I fucked up a relationship with someone I cared for, I dont want to make this mistake again..
Any ideas on how to make me a little bit less spoiled and selfish, and a little more selfless?
Any ideas on how to help me?

when someone tells you that youve done something to hurt their feelings, no matter how trivial it seems to you, no matter how you would react if the same was done to you, try to understand that you dont have to agree or even get why it hurt them, only that it did and now it is up to you to nurse the wound you inflicted.
Are we there yet?

Find someone, whether you know them or not, and do something selfless, preferably requiring SOME serious effort, for them. Doing it anonymously would be good, your not doing this for recognition or brownie points. When you interact with others later, think about what you did, use that to see what others want or need from a situation and try, and I'm not saying to this always to your detriment, to put them first. It might be a good excercise.
And remember...
A present is something you want someone to have.
A GIFT is something someone needs.
