Same post as in the HHGTTG but this is the first I've heard of this one.

"Elektra" has just moved to the top of our must-see list. USA Today reports that Terence Stamp has joined the cast of the "Daredevil" spinoff, which stars Jennifer Garner as the titular sai-wielding assassin

guess thats nessisary (sp) to get rid of the bad taste of Ben?

bad ideas volume one

1)daredevil
2)this terd waiting to be shit of an elektra movie
3)hulk movie.
4)any more adam sandler movies
5)those damn dance movies trying to make a flash dance for the new generations.

id rather watch a fucking Barney movie than see a daredevil movie, esp one with assfleck.

Junkie, sounds like I may have a similar problem with Punisher that you have with Daredevil - a sever distaste for the lead. I HATE Thomas Jane. As soon as he was announced as Castle, I lost all interest in this film. Nice that they showed the good taste to go with the Ennis storyline, but where's Ma? Or did Ennis do two runs?

I'll give it a day in court on video, which is more than I'll give Electra.

they only loosely based it on the ennis script and characters. ma was merged with kingpin for the lead villian, who gets most of the screen time oddly enough but it works for the movie.
i can see not liking Jane, thats a total act of opinion. i think his sullen lack of skills actually worked in the movies favor a bit. definitly worth a rental. i will say that opinions on him reserved, he doesnt get enough screentime to shift it either way compared to what i expected......
but i TOTALLY understand your feelings on the matter and respect that,

but this electra movie idea..... it ties halle berry casting for catwoman. its bad enough she almost cost us X2 and probably is costing us X3....... shes gonna ruin cat woman... but an electra movie just hurts the comic movie genre REALLY bad.

Daredevil did enough damage. coupled with the hulk. now this?
argh. i want some marketing people dead.
