Off to Columbus!

Well, folks.... I'm off to Columbus today to see a man about a horse... (hehe! actually an Iron-Horse)

Gotta get the good jobs where you can. Seems the Oldest Harley-Davidson dealership in the US is looking for someone like ME ! *giddy* :twisted:

So, off to see the wizard!..... I'll let you ppls know what's up when I get back on Friday...

Junkie- sorry about the cancellation of the atlanta trip, I'm bummed too.....

Ahhh.... back after a 12hr drive-a-thon....

Here's the skinny:

Headhunter calls me after seeing my resume, asks questions, etc... Calls me back 2 days later to see if I'd be interested in a meeting. I reply that w/48hrs notice, I can be there. (oops!) So, on tuesday, I get the call.... Thurs. 11am... Heh!...so much for my big mouth.... Soooo...... 6hr drive to Columbus on weds. See the dealership. In the (possibly) worst part of town. Nice shop tho'...

Get hotel room in Grove City... Go out late to check out the ONLY goth-ish club in Columbus.... Open 6nites a week. 80's nite... DJ should be awarded.... nice scary set of "80's" goth/industrial...
Meet LadyBast, the bartender, very cool ppl.... (not quite as cool as the KG folks, mind you)

Do Interview @ 11.... Owner has made another appointment, I only get to talk to him for 10mins!... Arrgghhh! Says I need to talk to his 'partner'... Turns out, this partner used to own the shop in AZ I *started* at!... haha! we know each other!....
Talked to him for 3hrs!!!

Seems like things went well, waiting to see if they call me back. Club/Scene in Ohio was interesting, has some potential... Still driving down for Sanctus if I do move tho'....

Now I gotta go hang out w/you ppls... Anyone?

Well, I guess I'll just hafta wait untill Skanktus to see you ppls..

Once again, the junkie christ was the only one who took me up on my offer... It was good to see BC, I4ce, miz kitty, etc... @ the Cramps show.. Lots of fun to be had...

Also, while I'm thinking on it, thanks to all who gave good wishes... keep the fingers crossed... Besides, I'm taking the really cool ppl w/me when I go... :twisted:
