Chronicles of Riddick - Starts Friday 6/11/04

I just watched the trailer and well either one of two things will happen - its going to be kick ass, or well be another "MegaForce". It looks like they took Stargate, Dune, X-men, and Battlestar Galactica and swirled them all together. Now Riddick (Vin Diesel) who was a guy with shiny eyes (allowing him to see in the dark) in the first movie is now some superhero machine of destruction. Well like I said, its either going to be MegaForce, or pretty cool.

My discription is more like Warhammer 40k, Also I think everyone who survived in the first one will be back in this one.
theres also supose to be an animated piece eventually.

The prequel to the this movie (which is a prequel to Pitch Black) is the video game instead of making a trilogy of movies in reverse
i thought that was really cool, how they turned all Riddicks backstory into a really really really fucking tight Xbox game (one of the best Xbox titles this year. trust me..if it had halo level multiplayer, it would be halo level cool. all its missing)......
the movie is gonna be fucking REALLY REALLY GOOD or fucking REALLY REALLY BAD.... but it shoud be enjoyable to watch either way.
Theyve had so many good ideas and put into this shit. But it could bomb. Look at Van Helsing. It coulda been really good, and all someone has to do is bring that movie up and loose my bowel control and fling shit at everyone around me.)

OK you know how we said this will either be great or really suck..... well it dosnt,,,,,, its ok. to avoid spoilers I wont go into detail but let me say

Furian.... My fuckian ass ok that part is JUSt Stupid. I feel if they want this to be a series they need to keep Ridick a secondary character, this would have been great if Jack was the main character. Oh and I was right this is WH 40k the weapons are exact replicas. Worth a matinaee (sp)

WAy better than BFE (who dared compare it to that crap) even better than VH and DAT but not as good as shrek 2 but at least on par with troy.
