Welcome to the show. gotta say you're really good at aplying the makeup. Take it from someone who thried that look a few times and and was never quite up to par.

to ge the the hello's going what sort of music do you like? I noticed the Slipknot in the background so I guess that's one down. Never cared much for their songs but do apreciate the creativity they take in their presence and stage performance.

Oooh! You're newer than I am! Does that mean I get to participate in the hazing?

I was also largely unnoticed at said event, but you must admit it was entertaining. Maybe we should organize a "meet the rookies" night to introduce ourselves?

Yes I do like slipknot but they are not on the top of my list. I have been listen to more dark wave and industrial music lately. But, here are a lot of the bands that I like. Acid Bath, American Head Charge, chimaira, coal chamber, cold, cradle of filth, danzig, devildriver, diva destruction, dry kill logic, earshot, eyeless, fear factory, flaw, hatebreed, high on fire, jackoff jill, killswitch engage, kmfdm, korn, kottonmouth kings, lamb of god, machine head, marilyn manson, mudvayne, murderdolls, nine inch nails, oghr, orgy, orinoko, ozzy, pantera, pink folyd, powerman 5000, rammstein, rob zombie, sevendust, silverchair, skinny puppy, sleeping, slipknot, soulfly, static x, suicide commando, switchblade symphony, the haunted, vnv nation,

Thank your for the compliment about my make up. I was to shy to dress up for this Sanetus so I will come out of my shell slowly. I am not sure to being around that many people that I don;t know. But thank you for the welcome to Knox Gothic.

That would be cool but the fact that I am to shy to stand up in front of people that I don't know and talk. That would not work out to well. I am better for meeting people on line and talking to them before I meet them in person. But that does sounds like fun. So if something and her organized that I might have to join in.

I was in my own little world anyway and I can be shy myself if I don't know the person so I apologize. Hopefully next time out, one of us will see you and you can be intro'd around...same for any new person. I love meeting new people, I'm just too shy to be the one to approach them.

Welcome aboard! :D

Have you posted in the "I'm new here" section of the forum yet?

A good place to start making introductions is often the 11th street coffee house. We gather there on Friday nights, congregating mostly on the front porch for smoking & socializing, but spilling over inside to avoid the mosquitos & out back for fencing. Come see us there this week if you're free.

I sat in the corner by myself at first too. It's always advisable to lurk for a brief period before jumping in to fun, in my opinion. Eventually I started walking around & saying hello to folks, though, & thankfully discovered how really friendly everyone was. I hope to see you out again soon, but to be honest, I frequently take my specs off when at a bar & can't see any one more than a few feet away, so don't wait for me to come over to you. I'm not being rude, I just can't see you!

Well thank you for the invite. I will try to make it but I am not sure if I will. I am going to the Clutch show tomorrow night and I don't know when I will be back. You should go. I will be fun. For me coming to talk to you well i don't know what you look like so how can I? lol But thank you so much to the welcome.

I don't know. I am really shy and I don't talk to people that I don't know unless it's on line. I will try to make it. One more thing how will i know that you people look like? Just walk up to everyone and ask? lol

Don't worry...I'm really shy as well.

As for finding us...I'm not sure (I've never been to one). But I'm guessing you should just look for the group of people...or something...

I haven't thought of this :-x

Okay, we usually post pics after every Sanctus. They also archive the old pics on the forum. These are often labeled, so you can put names with faces.

I'm probably one of the shortest females in attendance, other than Bear & Suzanne, I think. I'm round & my gray is showing & I spend most of my time on the dance floor. I wore a knee length skirt & combat boots last night, so you could see the tats on my legs... Mercury symbol on my right leg, aquarius on my left.

I'll try to find a pic in the archives I don't hate & post it. :-?

Ummm. Skirt and combat boots. I saw a lot of that last night. But I am not sure I wasn't really looking around because i had a headache. But I will go and look on the thing that you told me to look at and see if I can find you. This reminds me of hide and go seek. YAY! I get to play a fun game!
