Rapier Stabbing

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Rapier Stabbing

Post by Seraph Antaine »

Friday night, I will be at 11th St. with rapier, etc., rain or no. Last week, almost no one showed. Fortunately, Mark showed and we fenced one match. If I thought he was a board member, I'd thank him here. Hopefully, with some of us back in town, we will have more sport this time. I, for one, am seriously jonesin' to stab, er fence you all.

The only "fencing" I do is with a 6 and a half foot spear.

I suppose I could learn your womanly art, but I prefer to sit on the sidelines, drink, and make fun of your fumbles.

Eh, spears are a commoner's weapon, about a step above a shovel. But, I guess I can understand your not wanting to fence me. How about kickboxing, then?

I hessitate to post on-subject here, as it always seems to fire the trolls up, but...

Thanks go to my friends John and Joseph for showing up down at 11th St. for rapier fencing Friday night. It was fantastic fun, and I learned some things, as is ever the case. We missed those that did not show ( I hope the Unsatisfied was a worthy detour ), and apologise to those who showed too late.

I may go down to Cherokee Park to fence with the SCA people today, or if anyone wants to, I would be into meeting up at 11th St. again, to fence on the patio, where there will be no icky mud. Interested parties may post here or call me on my cell. Trolls, as you don't likely have my cell#, you can bother me here, or preferably on the thread I am about to open just for you... :P
