Fantastic. I'm going to make every effort to come out for this, with work schedule and money being the reasons I might not make it. Everything about this sounds delicious... there hasn't been much to do mid-week since karaoke at The Panda went away, Mediterranean food IS the food of the gods (love me all that hard-to-spell fun-to-pronounce cuisine.) If you don't know what to order, ask advice from the Armenian in the long black coat! The poster is good art; kudos. Jupiter is associated with Thor and after midnight at the event it will be Thorsday, so it works from a Greek and Norse view. OK, I take it back, not everything is perfect about it for me, because it's "way out west" but I *bow* to bloodymerry's joy at being closer.

tabouleh, falafel, kebab, kosheri, faoul madumas, baba ganoush, hummous, dolmas, pilaf, greek salad, lamb.... mmmm

so maybe afterwaards we can sing "bloodymerry had a little lamb?" oooo... sorry...

Hopefully, a lot of people will at least try it out. It should be a very relaxed night, having a few drinks, in a cool environment with good music. We won't be able to have a live band for a while, but we are working hard to find acts. Zeo will be spinning quite a bit also. Besides, where else can you go that your server will be wereing fishnets and a short skirt?

You guys should post if there is a required age or cover for those who aren't aware. :)

No age limit, 18 and over is suggested, sinse it's a bar, but if you are 16, have a car, and nowhere to go, or you really want to bring your teens out for something besides homework and theaters, you can, we do serve food. As far as cover charges and things, we will only have one when we have a live band.

ooo it just keeps getting better and better.

Solution to longer drive "way out west": buy larger capacity storage card for MP3 player.

Xas and I will be there when he gets out of work. We'll be possibly bringing his sister, Melissa, if she is up to it :)

Sounds like fun!

Sadly no VTO yet. What does one wear to a martini bar?

And why always gatherings in bars/clubs? There's gotta be some good recreational facility suitable for a moderate group of adult goths in this city other than the local pub... What would it be though?

If I can get out of work in the next 45 minutes, I will probably head that way.

I don't know, but I'm certainly curious about ideas.

It'd be interesting to see what possibilities arise.

Goth Bowling Night perhaps? Goth goes to the Museum?
Goth overtakes the arcade! I'd pay to see The Fallen on a DDR machine.

Umm.. Really? Damn, and I can't even bowl..

I can fall flat on my ass really well, but.. not bowl.

Fair enough, but it'd be funny nonetheless :) Yes, that's just jealousy talking... *sniff*

Sorry I missed it. I'll try to make it out next week if you do it again then. I just had too much stuff going on last night.

Well, I got there quite late and was afraid that I would miss most of the fun. Little did I know that the fun was just about to begin. LOL

In all seriousness though, I really like the atmosphere of the club. Thumbs up for the drink specials, and kudos to Jake for the music. I had a really nice time, and thoroughly enjoyed catching up with a few people. After that, the night just got really amusing. Its been a long time since I've sat around and played Devil's advocate with a group of people. *giggle*

Much thanks to Ligeia, Zeo and Scarecrow for putting this together.

*sigh* :( I was in my recliner.
I'm Jewish. I don't work out. If god had wanted us to bend over, she would have put diamonds on the floor.
