BILL HICKS Video Fest This Sunday 9:30 till late @ the PL

Yes, that's right a BILL HICKS Comedy Fest. At the Pilot Light in the Old City This Sun, Nov. 14th 9:30 till late,late. I'm told it will feature at least one feature length live performance, a documentary and some "rare" footage. It's FREE so come down and have a beer and watch THE MASTER.

Thank you, Jay, for being such a gentleman & offering some enlightenment. Maybe I'd recognize him if I saw a pic, but quite frankly, most of the new info I'm looking to acquire lately is along the lines of the subject matter in the classes I'm currently taking. Guess I'm a bad goff!

I think that most people that have never heard of Hicks still know his routines, generally focused on religion, drugs, smoking and children and his delicious hatred of them :twisted:

Hicks died about 10 years ago, never starred in any movies, was not on SNL, and did not have a TV show. But his standup was sharp, biting and memorable.

Buy the DVD!!! It is cheap and at over 3 hours contains three of his absolute best stand up routines. You will be amazed at how much of it you already know
