A Temple Christmas/Yule/Whatever

Post by tat2jay »

We have two Temple nights in December, the 4th and the 18th.
During this month we want to help out cuz as a community we have the ability to. that should be reason enough no matter what your faith system is.
so what are we doing to help out?
we will be accepting donations of unwrapped childrens toys at Temple for those less fortunate - but dont think you dont get somthing for being a good person -
for every unwrapped childs toy you bring, we will give you a ticket for a drawing to be held through out the night on both the 4th and 18th
some of the giveaway prizes include, Complimentary stays in beautiful cabins in Gatlinburg and pigeon forge, DVD, passes to Sanctus, 2 months free attendance to Temple, drink coupons, IHOP gift certificates, T shirts, various CDs, possibly even specialty homemade soaps and candles among various other things.
prizes are being donated almost daily, so there should be a lot of fun stuff - so please, if you plan to attend temple in the month of December bring an unwrapped and unwarped childs gift and maybe win a prize or two. -
more details about prizes to come as they develop,
thanks everyone for making Temple a success :D

also if you have a special talent or gift of somthing you would like to donate as a prize, please PM me or email me at tattoojay@hotmail.com - thanks

That's absolutely awesome! You again amaze me Jay!

I won't make it for Dec. 4, as already stated, but I will be there Dec. 18 and with toy in tow.

What sort of toys are requested? I got a kick of the "unwarped" comment :) Better to get multiple smaller gifts, or one large one? What age range are you looking for for the items?

Hi there~

This one charity that we will be donating toys to is a place for children that were removed from crack houses, their own abusive/neglected homes, etc. I would say the best toys would be physical activity toys: Baseballs, bats, basketballs, etc , small handheld games, board games for the boys. For the girls, I honestly am not sure. Possibly some of the same items.

Things that are not encouraged:

chemical sets
play weapons of any kind
The ages range from 8 years old to 16 years old.

If anyone needs any additional information, please feel free to contact me.

Thx

I think I can manage to donate one or two of those vagina dentata magnets as door prizes, and a pair of earrings...

what about clothes?.... need clothes?................. i've got plenty of clothes.
sorry, no toys; but who needs clothes!?

seriously. i'll bring some toys, but i have boxes and bags of clothes that i need to get rid of. i was going to take them to a shelter or something, but i rarely have time and when i do, i'm too lazy to go.

le sigh.... 2 jobs, 3 dogs, and a permanently messy house can wear you out sometimes. but i'll have a toy damnit!

We usually do a similar thing at work, but this will give me more fun opportunity to shop for kid's toys. Great idea for making children's lives a little better at Christmas time.

its not a matter of what age it will fit.

its a matter of what size ass it will fit.

all is school safe, nothing risque or inapprropriate. i just never wear it or it doesn't fit.

Well considering more than one child may be able to build a meth lab.....we kinda don't encourage that :)

Yeah, one should be, at least, 21 before attempting to build a meth lab. ;)

My mind actually hadn't went down that path. I was too busy
thinking along the lines of
