Temple or Sanctus???

Um, not to be too critical, but this is the sort of thread that starts trouble.

I don't think that it's a good idea to spurn any kind of division or competition between these nights.

Personally, I enjoy both. Our folks work very hard and sacrifice their time and energy to create these "escapes" for us. Why start a competition?

What is the point of this anyhow? What are you hoping to accomplish?

I have to say that I'm partial to both, for purely personal reasons (Jason/Arkady is my husband, Practically grew up with Justin/Jay and his wife Kasi). So.....I voted Poo.

I have no preference as both are great and have their own enjoyable aspects. fortunately there is no need to choose. I'm sure you didn't mean to start trouble by this thread, but yeah, I can see Ophelia's point.

its totally cool, you havent been to temple, im not sure if you have been to sanctus, and you were trying to get a feel for it and see what people think, thats understandable
in the past there has been stuff stirred up cuz of a *percieved* competition between dance nights in knoxville, that just isnt the case with temple and sanctus, so we are careful to avoid any type of misunderstanding that there might be competition -
as it is, go to both and have a great time at both - each has somthing to offer and both work well together

I left this forum 3 or 4 months ago because I was having some problems in my life and because every time I looked on this forum people were starting shite with each other over bullshit.

I don't have many freinds, so I thought this could be a place to make new ones. But when I finally ask a question that I was pondering on with no ill will or evil intentions I get jumped down my throat.

I am an easy going person. I like seeing everyone happy, so Im very very sorry that i started a "silly thread".

Thankyou to Jay for answering my question. Thats all I wanted to know.

I couldn't agree more with this statement. Both nights offer completely different things to achieve completely different goals. I actually love that fact. I truely believe in the saying that "Variety is the spice of life.", and I feel like I get that (at least from a clubbing aspect) out of the two different nights.
Ashes, I don't believe you were trying to start trouble at all, but knowing this board as some of us do, we see where this could potentially go, or rather, where this will most likely go. There's a lot of stupid history there, and we will leave it at that. I know you have been to Sanctus; I'm not sure if you have been to Temple, but I don't remember seeing you there, but due to work, I haven't been to the last few. Temple and Sanctus are completely different nigths, and both have good points to enjoy.

I wasn't accusing you of starting trouble... I'm sorry if you took it that way. I just was saying, as Jay restated, that this post had a potential for trouble because of past garbage, and was wondering why you made it in the first place. Maybe if you had simply asked the difference between Sanctus and Temple, then you could have not only had the answer you wanted, but also not be perceived as starting a potential problem.

Again, I didn't know your intent... that's why I asked. You're right, there is lots of shite of the board sometimes... I wanted to nip some in the bud.

I put this question like this sanctus and temple are sorta like
WWE(F) vs WCW/ECW.You have fans of one or the other or some cases both but when it comes right down to it,it was always pro wrestling. The same can be said here you will have fans of one or the other but in the end they are dance nights for us to enjoy,get drunk at and for some of you all hook up at.
