Duct tape is like 'The Force'. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.

Q: Most people in Lonsdale listen to Dave Matthews or Christian Music.
hahahahaha.........
I rather took offense to that...them attempting some nice racist/classist stereotypes...
Actually...That was my point....I think that it's funny that someone took the time to make a quiz supporting their city...Then destroy everything 'nice' about it...

How is that offensive? The quiz doesn't say anything at all derogatory or insulting. It's a fair statement to say there aren't a lot of DMB fans in Lonsdale. It's a fact of the culture in that part of town, it's true in other places too, but Lonsdale is well enough known to be a viable subject for the question. If I said "Most people in Clayton Estates aren't fans of Dave Matthews Band" it's just as legitimate for the quiz but far less well known, and thus doesn't serve the purpose well.

Look...It's not that I am starting some debate over this...I just said that I find it somewhat offensive...Get over it...Jezz us...Does every statement I make have to become a debate...

Ok, you tell me why is it a fair statement to say that there aren't a lot of DMB fans in Lonsdale?
On my personal experience both from driving through and working with my customers in the Lonsdale area, there is a very strong urban culture there. It lends itself more to urban/street types of music. Rap and hiphop, and I've heard a fair bit of reggae and soul and funk from folks there. Among the older residents it is not at all uncommon to hear various types of church music either. Are there NO Dave Matthews fans? I doubt it. I'm sure there are more than a few fans there. But the urban stylized music is far more predominant. Is this a bad thing or derogatory thing? Not at all. It's just a reality.

True...But it was still a bit uncalled for..That was my point...I think the ONLY way it could be derogatory, IMHO, is the fact that Christian music, & DMB, for the most part, are what white-bread Amerika would call 'wholesome'...So, in a very round-about way...The creator of this quiz said that the people that live in Lonsdale are not wholesome people...Though I'm sure that he/she had no intentions of being offensive...
Side Note:...I wasn't trying to say that you where refering specifically to me...I was just refusing to speak for Buttercup, who was the only other person to find that statement offensive...Or atleast said that they where...
