Cowboy Bebop: The Movie
Cowboy Bebop: The Movie
Apparently, Knockin' on Heaven's Door is playing at Downtown West 8 this week. I just got back from seeing it, and really, it beats any episode of the show (from the ones I've seen) hands down. Some great fight scenes, an excellent chase sequence, and the score is perfect. The songs, the ones with vocals and lyrics, feel like somebody gouged out your eyes and shit in the sockets, but otherwise, the movie's a generally well-crafted piece. Heartily enjoyed it.

Yeah never seen this stuff before but enjoyed it, found the sound track very interesting. Its classic macross style anime (though someone had suggested there would be mechs in it but there werent). Over all enjoyable (and long)

Yeah, It kicks ass. I saw it subed at a convention last year and made my first (and only) anime music video with footage from it. It's to Queen "Who Wants To Live Forever". That's not really relavent, but I thought I'd mention it. Good movie though, fits into the irony of the series wonderfully but with a budget equaling that of the entire tv series, so it's 24 times as good as any one episode. See you space cowboy.
this weeks color: deep blue
