GO SEE VNV IN NASHVILLE

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

GO SEE VNV IN NASHVILLE

Post by Serenity »

I recently went to Tampa with my band to see VNV and the show was amazing! The lights, the music...everything was absolutely amazing! We also enjoyed in spending time with both Ronan Harris and Mark Jackson, discussing music etc. I got inside info about their music, the lyrics, their meanings, and especially advice and contacts for our band. Mr Mark Jackson, I have a soft spot in my heart for that man...he truely is a gentleman and I look forward to seeing him again in Philly. Mark is huge! Like 6'7 and a half HUGE! As I said we spent time with them before and after the show...especially at "the Castle"( a fanastic goth/industrial night in Tampa, go there too if you can). Luckily we also got pictures! I am recommending the show and also we are planning a three show road trip to see them in Philly, D.C. and NYC...and next year? There was talk of our band opening for them....no joke...

If you can...GO!!!!

Laura:)

P.S. Yes I may sound like a giddy 13 year old but hey...I don't care!!! LOL

PSS>Pictures being worked on...post them at a later date...hopefully tomorrow....thank you to Gary:)

They are playing in Covington KY the 14th ... my second time to go see them because the Nashville show was cut short due to no AC.

Last time I was at the castle in Ybor, one of the bartenders stood up on top of the bar and began pouring orange vodka down my throat straight out of the bottle. I went and introduced myself to the DJ and played around with the video mixer for a minute, but I don't remember shit after that. I apparently got kicked out for being drunk of my ass and falling all over the place in my 6 inch placforms. I fell and slid down both sets of stairs like a goddamn slip-n-slide.
good times. ;-)

I can't help it...I have become a VNV nut. I was going to hit more concerts but life has been too busy...I hope they plan to tour again soon.

P.S. I was able to get a copy of the Honour 2003 cd...apparently it is out of print.

The Castle was wild...probably one of the best I've been to...but let's face it...nothing tops Sanctus!

OK, maybe wild isn't the best way to describe it...I guess the large men running around in g-strings is "wild" to me...but it is a "goth" night right? Anyways, good times...

Have you been there recluse?
