Experimental KG Chat

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Experimental KG Chat

Post by DarkVader »

Well, there are enough of you complaining about it, so I'm adding a chat service.

This is EXPERIMENTAL - that means it may be broken, and it may go away at any time. But it's here now.

Play with it. And let me know if you have any problems with it.

You guys are running into the same problem I am on my IRC server.... if there aren't 20 people talking at once, they'll stay 60 seconds, then leave.

i'm still waiting for a reply on the 'official' rule on running bots.

though, i guess if it's experimental, there might not be one... :woot:

oh, oops. forgot to mention that.

the chat is experimental. therefore there isn't an official rule on bots yet.

if they don't cause problems, there might never be one.

rock on. and remember, 'cause it's IRC, if they do cause problems, it's nothing a k:line/g:line can't solve. :dup:

but the only problem mine are likely to cause are headaches for me because i'm looking at 5 year old code here, and wondering what the heck i was thinking while writing it.
