ah...the perpetual debate of SP and NIN
:-)

Skinny Puppy:
A major influence on Nine Inch Nails and on Industrial music as a whole. Trent Reznor has said that "Dig It", a song by Skinny Puppy was a major influence for the song "Down In It."

NIN opened for Skinny Puppy way back in 1988, even before the release of Nine Inch Nails first official release.

I personally think skinny puppy kicks NIN's ass anyday. And I personally don't find them that similar...both industrial yeah, but Ogre could take Trent any day of the week.
