I don t know if you go to coffee shops with your laptop and wouldnt mind talking to people but buried in your computer people are hesitant to just walk up...theres this new product that communicates that its ok to come and talk or to leave you alone and such...http://www.moodblurbs.com

i've found that a scowl works just fine to ward off people.

or a goatse background image...

I'd be afraid the goatse background would make somebody want to say something to me.

Maybe a "go away, I'm busy" sign would be a good idea.
