They wont impeach him.
Government all to often boils down to investors.
Besides, if Cheney slipped in, i think that would be even worse.

The best we can hope is the mounting pressure on Bush will make him actually start paying attention to domestic affairs.

The wiretap debate always seemed like a nobrainer to me.
Its a direct violation of civil liberites, you know, those things he was sworn in to protect

Moving on...They won't impeach him unlss some serious injustices coems to head that they can't hide. Granted knowing what the man has done wrong isn't going to give a case to the democrats...The republicans will have to be the ones to step forward and publically stop supporting Bush. More so than they did on one or two issues...This is a majority thing.

But, geting rid of him right...Chances are slim to none, and I have to agree with JC here.

This is just the tip of things. What we still don't know is the full extent of who is being spied on. Claims by the ACLU suggest that activist groups are being ivestigated. PETA is apparantly a terrorist organization bent on....well they are bent on something I'll warrant the government knows about it.

I believe the impeachment of President Bush is a likely thing. Republicans in congress are starting to see the great Bush as a shunken ship magnet and will start to distance themselves from him. If allegations of wiretapping into activists groups or invidvduals of muslim persuasion, without due reason, are accurate you can expect Congress to do a little finger waggling.

Remember the anti-torture bill was started by John McCain.

What might prove to be more interesting then impeachment possibilites are the lawsuit possibilities. I imagine some of those being wiretapped will look toward liegal resources to settle their affairs with the government.

What we have for now until the next election is a lame duck president.

But back to the subject at hand. I think that if the masses were to actually pay attention to what is going on and could comprehend it even, then there will be an impeachment of the both of them, trials for treason and maybe a hanging or two. The problem is that you don't seem to hear much about it on the nightly news and most don't go searching for this shit often. Good thing I have some spare time.
