"Electricity 2" on Ninthwave records, + Heaven 17

Hey guys ...

You have got to have a listen to the new "Electricity 2" compilation on Ninthwave Records. I've had a listen to samples from it and I have been totally blown away ... this music makes me feel like I've stepped back a couple of decades, back to when the music was good!

Tracks that stood out for me: Heaven 17 "Hands up to Heaven" ... these guys sound just like they did in 1983! Electro-synthpop-funk is BACK! And also ... the Astromill track "Stranded in Manchester", which has a rich, lovely Pet Shop Boys sound, I haven't had this sort of a buzz from a song since "West End Girls" came out in 1986.

There's a lot more on here, including Cosmicity, Soviet, Freezepop, Empire State Human, and NukleoN ... just go and have a listen, and see if you agree that this has got to be one of the best electronic albums out there today! I'm ordering my copy right now (as soon as I get the bills paid) ...
