Hello Dark Elf ,
Thanks for the welcome . I've been digging around in the dumpster to get to know people on this site . It appears there has been a religious scuffle going on . I read the item entitled "Gothic Christian Challenge" and the guy seemed like a real prat . That is until I read the thread he seemed to be addressing . It took me a while to realize that "noboogerman" simply crystalized the attitudes and opinions of his opposition and sent it back to them . Vertigo25 , you did miss the point , then turned around and made the point for him. You didn't like it when he did it , but you didn't seem to mind others doing the exact same thing for over 7 pages . I think I know the identity of "noboogerman" but I can't be quite sure yet . If it'swho I think it is , he's actually a lot of fun and I'm sure he's laughing right now .

As for me , I stay away from religion and politics . Subjects best left to sinners and saints . I'm a little of both , so I stay out . I shall keep digging and learning . There are some smart and funny people on this site and I am eager to share with you , and learn from you . Based what I'm finding in the "dumster" ; this should be a lot of fun . I'll get back to you on other interesting subjects as I come across them .
Peace of Mind ,
S

Hi! I'm "Aslan" AKA NoBoogerMan!

You're not fooling anyone, dude.

And I think it's kinda creepy that you would do that.
The firemen came and broke through the chimney top. And me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird. And instead they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He'd been climbing down the chimney... his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.

BTW: I went to the library and got The Case for Christ. I finished the first chapter last night.

I'm going to reserve any comment, though, until I finish the book.

Are you going to read my recommendation?

I also checked out The End of Faith by Scott Harris, and Killing the Buddha by Peter Manseau and Jeff Sharlet. Both look really good, but I'm most excited about Killing the Buddha. It looks really, really interesting.

Hmmmmm...

I just did something out of shear boredom which proves I have no life, but it's kind of interesting.

Can you point out any post, whatsoever in that "Goth Christianity Anyone?" thread that said anything even remotely discriminatory?

The only thing I can find is where *you* try to tell Hardcore Girl to butt out of the topic.

After reading many of these posts , i find one thing alarming . It's not tone , or substance . Are you guys doing damage to each other's mailboxes and computer operations ? That's beyond anything i've seen in relation to forums . WOW .

Vertigo , glad you are reading a book . i've read that one you talked about(TCFC) and i'm familiar with the "Devils Chaplain" too .

Check out http://www.tentmaker.org . Go into the "scholars corner" and find "the power of life and death in a greek four letter word" Great read . You will also find many articles and compositions that are extremely interesting . It's something most people with religious/anti-religious interests are not aware exists .

Seriously, dude. You're not fooling anyone. To try to pretend like you *aren't* NoBoogerMan is just stupid at this point.

What the hell does being "familiar" with a book mean? I'm "familiar" with thousands of books that I haven't read.

And are you going to reply to request that you find a post in that thread which is "discriminatory?"

At this point you're seriously on my last nerve, and I think that not only are you a bit touched, but that you're kinda creepy.

Upon serious consideration, I've decided that I won't interact with you anymore. I think the act of creating a new account in an attempt to hide your other identity is a tactic of baiting, and I won't be reeled in.

I also believe that this act of baiting fits within the forum's definition of "Troll," and I would like to ask the moderators to please look in to this, and if they agree, ban you from the forum.

There can be no doubt whatsoever that Aslan and NoBoogerMan are the same individual, and NoBoogerMan was in fact warned that Troll behavior would get him banned.

You are close , but no cigar . i thought you were mad earlier . It seems you've met my roomate . He uses the same computer . He should not have registered himself to a forum from this one . For that i apologize . He and Dark Elf have been ina contest to see who can hit the dumpster fastest . i think my roomate won . He says thanks for playing . For some reason he cannot get back in . i wonder why ? LOL

As for this discussion, you two can have it . You did get me to read the thread in which you demanded proof of discrimination . i was brief in scanning it , but "I have the right to discriminate against stupid people " was an outright confession of discrimination and the use of the term ignorant was biggoted . Don'tcha think ? That's saying all Christians are the same and are ignorant . Biggotry defined ! In the future keep your arguement to the proper target .
Nice to meet you though and keep reading :)

Odd that you and your "roommate" consistently misspell the same words in the exact same way, and consistently place a space before every period.

Even if this whole "roommate" schtick was true, you obviously lied when you said you "suspected" that you knew who he was in real life. Either way, this thread makes you a troll plain and simple.

Morgan never once said what you quote there. Also, the inference that she was talking about Christians is yours, not hers. Although she did say that she had a right to discriminate against ignorant people, she didn't actually do so.

You really need to go away now, Jeffrey.

Anybody else ever notice how when stupid people think they're smart, they always go entirely too far and think they're smarter than everyone? It's baffling, really... they're too stupid to realize that their every attempt to make themselves seem smart only serves to make them look even more stupid.

Brian, you should be ashamed that you're taking part in this.

I thought the Header said "Gothic Christianity anyone?" If you are not interested , wouldn't a simple no suffice ? I am amazed to see members of the Goth Community act like the very fundamentalist Christians they seem to despise . Leave the judgement to the idiots . The greatest thing about the Goth Community is non-judgement and inclusion . I'd love to see that re-appear . It used to be the norm . What's it to ya if someone else wants to explore THEIR spiritual path ?

Nope a simple "no" won't suffice. If you post it its free for anyone to comment upon. And as many times as I get preached at, have my right to choose abortion threatened, my fetish shows censored, my adult websites shutdown by fucking Christians, I'll be damned if I'm not gonna throw a little logic back at them. I'm not a christian so I can judge all I want to...and I think the goth community should be judging and discerning or else we'd be fucking hippies.

This is an attack and nobody seems to acknowledge it . Being a little selective aren't we ? Fucking Christians , even the Hippies aren't safe around here .

Jeffrey: I realize that you are far too convinced of your own intellectual superiority to realize that you are completely wrong, so I'm not even going to bother explaining to you how neither one of those statements is discriminatory.

I repeat: go away now.
