yeah
he'll be about 60 when he's full grown
that's how large his father is
his dad is the #2 english bulldog / show dog
in the country
the breeders wanted to show him
but he has a dip in his spine
so they couldn't
and i as a result got a good deal
on a dog with a champion blood line
but i got him fixed
i'm not gonna breed him

I like English bulldogs. My next-door neighbor has one. The first time I saw it I was outside working on my car and he starts backing growling and acting all big and mean towards me. So of course, I walk up to him, and all he wanted was for me to come play with him. Other than the slobber he is probably one of the friendlier dogs I have met. I personally, plan to get a wolf, dingo, or malamute seeing as how i can not afford and english bulldog.

There is this adorable old couple in my neighborhood, and they have a sweet little man like your's. When I drive by their house the old man is usually working on his MG convertible, and the dog is hanging out with him..........and wearing a sweatshirt with the sleeves and neck cut out.

Be a good, responsible pet owner and go through a rescue program. Most of them will charge you $150 (more or less depending on the dog) for the adoption process (spay/neuter and shots), check the environment and hand over the animal.
Personally, I adore huskys, but I can't afford $900 to purchase one from the pet store. So, when the time comes and my husky Chynna is gone, I'll contact the rescue program and get a dog that really needs a home.
Check the web, there are probably english bulldog rescue programs somewhere.
BTW, beautiful puppy!

I had a Bassett Hound as a kid that the same thing happened to. The vet said it was because he was purebred, and some breed have a genetic defect that can cause that to happen. We were afraid to have dog on the same property after that.
