So I left Knoxville about a year ago to come to the great white north. I expected a much better time when it came to Goth, and I was dissapointed.
Toronto: More venues, more bands, more people, and more than a few stores that cater to the goth crowd. However, crap's expensive up here. I mean, the stuff in hot topic sells in goth specialty stores up here for four to five times what it does in the states. Add to that cigarettes are ten bucks a pack and you can go broke pretty quick. The people are atrocious. Very cliquey, I mean don't expect to be embraced quickly up here. I know we hang out on the darker side of life, but you can still say hello to a new person.
Bottom line Knoxville has a better scene. The people are better, the smokes are cheaper, and we have a much better time. I hope to get back down for a visit in the future. Keep being the best little scene around. I gota blaze.
