tired of that cliched mofo cluttering up your lawn? want to let your neighbors know what will happen if the little vagabond trespasses over their property line?
if so, meet gnome be gone! proof that a little bit of neighborly intimidation can work wonders.

If carpenters made buildings the way programmers make programs, the first woodpecker to come along would destroy all of civilization. Anonymous

How cute!
A friend of mine at work told me she bought quite a few on sale at joanns one year. She planted some flowers and veggies in a garden and decorated with the gnomes. However, the dogs and other animals kept digging at the plants, so she surrounded it with chicken wire. As time progressed and things died etc, it got kind of muddy. Her sister said, "it looks horrible, what is it, some sort of gnome concentration camp?!"
That just cracked me up.

Iblis, THANK YOU, I must worship you for awhile. I showed it to my husband with a subtle "I NEED THIS! CHRISTMAS PRESENT! I NEED IT!" and somehow he got the hint and said go ahead and order it.
I'm getting the one holding the flower, too.

It was the winter of my heart's desire, the spring of my autumnal fancy, the summer of my discontent; all in all, I think it was Monday.
