Maybe it does need to roll until it's done.

I know that, over the past few years, there have been times (regarding KG and some of my personal life stuff involving KG members) that I felt like screaming at people "Hey, you idiot, shut up with the smack and listen - here's what's REALLY going on and you'd see that if you'd just close your mouth and open your eyes for once!" However, a lot of those times clarifying things - even if it was to my own advantage - fell under the "private personal business" shield. You have to REALLY piss me off by airing your version of my private business before I'll even consider airing your personal business, even if it means letting people go on yapping crap about me.

Come to think of it, if more people respected the concepts of "private", "personal", and "not your story to tell" a lot of really nasty stuff would never have happened.

My point is that I understand why Arkady, Bone, and Vader don't air everything. It's a need to know and guess what? Sometimes, it's just not our business.

BTW, Hillary - I resent being spammed in general, but particularly by a message board that allowed/encouraged personal attack threads where the person being attacked could neither see the thread nor respond to it.
Very junior high slam book.

Excellent point, JaNell. That management style left alot to be desired. I'm glad they made the forum public, but it's my understanding that they still have the private areas where only a select few may read or post. If that's okay, how is respecting an individual's right to privacy any different?

People also need to take into account, that a lot of this is hear say. Remember that game you played as a kid in Kindergarden? The teacher told one person a line, then by the time it got back around "The Apple fell from the tree" had turned into " Adam's mom is a he." But that's just my view on it, and I may be wrong.

Also, people are not as innocent as they seem. Every side hides things, that's just the way humans work. Everyone keeps skeltons deep within their closet, for whatever reason. Sometimes, it's to spare another party's feelings. Other times, it's to deny our own actions.

My point is, that no matter what we will most likely know the entire truth, and if we can just accept that. Then we can move on.

"Everyone lies. When we are kids we lie our heads off.
" Did you brush your teeth?"
" No! Yes! What's correct? I was on the moon...with Steve."

" The American governemt lied to the native americans for many many years. The President Clinton lied about a relationship and everyone was suprised. A little nieve I feel." -Eddie Izzard

I am not calling anyone a liar persay. I'm just stating that the ENTIRE truth will most likely never be known, and in all honesty who wants to know every minute from how many years ago when somone ( who a lot of people have never met or got to know) was wronged by somone else ( who a lot of people have never met or got to know.)

It's like Springer. Plain and Simple. He said she said that he said.

The interesting bit about this thread is that through all the drama and 'so and so did such and such' stuff, there's a very important bit burried in there. There's a monthly Sanctus, a now weekly Temple, and talk of a weekly night at Urban.. which if happened would be a weekly Fri/Sat dance option with a monthly Sunday thrown in (and that's not counting what I don't know about which could be considerable as I've been out of the 'scene' for so long). It's not quite the "I can go out and dance to good music 6 out of 7 nights a week" that was the early/mid 90's here in ktown, but after the pretty much death of the club scene several years ago, I'd say it's pretty derned nifty. So.. while "why can't we all just get along" might not be an appropriate thing to say, I WOULD like to say.. to all of the people that have put in the effort to get things going again over the past few years.. you guys rock. ALL of you.
